Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: September 2, 2026

Last Updated: September 2, 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Authorized Residential Operations website, your interactions with Authorized Residential Operations, and, where applicable, certain services and communications provided by Authorized Residential Operations.

Please read these Terms carefully.

By using our website, requesting assistance from Authorized Residential Operations, or otherwise interacting with our services, you acknowledge these Terms where applicable.

Additional agreements, disclosures, or terms may apply to specific products or services offered by third-party service providers.

1. ABOUT AUTHORIZED RESIDENTIAL OPERATIONS

Authorized Residential Operations ("Authorized Residential Operations," "ARO," "we," "us," or "our") is a third-party residential services brokerage and customer support organization.

We assist residential customers with identifying available home service options, understanding applicable offerings, completing enrollment requirements, coordinating installations, and receiving ongoing customer-care assistance.

Depending on location and availability, these services may relate to:

  • Residential internet

  • Television and entertainment

  • Home phone and communications

  • Home security

  • Smart-home products and services

  • Enrollment and installation coordination

  • Existing customer account support

Authorized Residential Operations does not independently operate the internet networks, telecommunications networks, television programming services, or security monitoring services offered by third-party providers.

2. THIRD-PARTY PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

Residential products and services presented or facilitated through Authorized Residential Operations may be provided by independent third-party service providers.

Provider availability, eligibility, pricing, promotions, equipment, service speeds, programming, installation requirements, service commitments, warranties, monitoring agreements, taxes, fees, and other terms may vary.

Customers are responsible for reviewing and agreeing to applicable provider-specific terms before establishing a service.

The applicable third-party provider may maintain a direct contractual relationship with the customer for the underlying residential service.

Authorized Residential Operations is not responsible for changes made independently by a third-party provider to its products, services, coverage, pricing, promotions, equipment, policies, or other provider-specific terms, except to the extent otherwise expressly agreed by Authorized Residential Operations.

3. SERVICE AVAILABILITY

Not all products or services are available in all locations.

Availability may depend on factors including:

  • Customer address

  • Geographic service area

  • Provider coverage

  • Customer eligibility

  • Existing provider relationships

  • Network availability

  • Installation requirements

  • Current provider offerings

Information regarding availability is subject to verification.

We do not guarantee that a particular provider, product, promotion, service level, or price will be available to every customer.

4. CUSTOMER INFORMATION

Customers agree to provide accurate and reasonably complete information when requesting service availability, enrollment assistance, installation coordination, account support, or other services from Authorized Residential Operations.

The ability of Authorized Residential Operations or an applicable third-party provider to fulfill a request may depend upon the accuracy of information provided by the customer.

Customers should promptly notify us when information relevant to a pending request or supported account changes.

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

5. ENROLLMENT AND THIRD-PARTY AGREEMENTS

When a customer elects to establish a product or service offered by a third-party provider, additional agreements may apply.

These may include provider service agreements, installation agreements, equipment terms, monitoring agreements, promotional terms, billing authorizations, or other product-specific disclosures.

Customers should review applicable agreements before accepting them.

These Terms do not replace the terms of an agreement entered into directly between a customer and an applicable third-party service provider.

6. CUSTOMER SUPPORT

Authorized Residential Operations may provide ongoing customer-care assistance for eligible customers and services established or managed through our organization.

Depending on the circumstances, we may assist with:

  • General account inquiries

  • Installation coordination

  • Service activation

  • Account information updates

  • Billing inquiries

  • Equipment coordination

  • Customer-requested service changes

  • Provider communication

  • Service-related notifications

  • General customer support

Certain requests may need to be completed directly by the applicable third-party service provider.

7. COMMUNICATIONS

Customers may communicate with Authorized Residential Operations through telephone, email, text messaging, website forms, or other supported communication channels.

We may use the contact information provided by a customer to respond to customer-initiated inquiries and, subject to applicable consent and law, communicate regarding services, installations, customer support, account information, and other matters related to the customer's relationship with Authorized Residential Operations.

Consent to receive SMS or text messages is handled separately from consent to receive communications through other channels.

8. AUTHORIZED RESIDENTIAL OPERATIONS SMS PROGRAM

Authorized Residential Operations offers an SMS messaging program for customers who elect to receive text communications from us.

The messaging program is operated by Authorized Residential Operations.

Customers who opt in may receive text messages concerning customer care and account-related matters.

Messages may include:

  • Responses to customer inquiries

  • Customer support communications

  • Account notifications

  • Account information requests or updates

  • Installation scheduling and coordination

  • Appointment information

  • Service activation information

  • Equipment coordination

  • Billing-related notifications

  • Payment or account status notifications

  • Service-related updates

  • Customer-requested assistance

  • Other non-promotional communications relating to an existing or requested service

Enrollment in the SMS program is optional.

Consent to receive SMS messages from Authorized Residential Operations is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.

9. SMS CONSENT

Before sending recurring SMS communications where consent is required, Authorized Residential Operations obtains applicable consent from the recipient.

SMS consent is specific to communications from Authorized Residential Operations and to the types of communications described when consent is requested.

Providing a telephone number by itself does not necessarily constitute consent to receive recurring SMS communications.

Where website-based SMS enrollment is offered, customers must affirmatively elect to receive text messages. SMS consent is not preselected and is not required in order to submit a general inquiry or obtain a product or service.

Customers may choose not to provide SMS consent and may still communicate with Authorized Residential Operations through other available channels.

10. SMS MESSAGE FREQUENCY

Message frequency varies.

The number of messages you receive will depend on your interactions with Authorized Residential Operations, your account activity, pending service requests, installations, customer-support needs, and other applicable account-related events.

Because our messaging program is primarily used for customer care and account notifications, there is no fixed number of messages that every customer will receive.

11. MESSAGE AND DATA RATES

Message and data rates may apply.

Your wireless carrier may charge you for sending or receiving text messages according to the terms of your mobile service plan.

Authorized Residential Operations is not responsible for charges imposed by your wireless carrier.

12. HOW TO OPT OUT OF TEXT MESSAGES

You may cancel SMS communications from Authorized Residential Operations at any time.

Reply STOP to unsubscribe.

After you send STOP, you may receive a final text message confirming that you have been unsubscribed.

After your opt-out request has been processed, we will no longer send messages covered by the withdrawn SMS consent unless you subsequently request or consent to receive SMS communications again.

Other recognized opt-out keywords may also be supported.

Opting out of SMS does not prevent you from communicating with Authorized Residential Operations through other available communication methods.

14. MOBILE CARRIER DISCLAIMER

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Message delivery may be affected by your wireless service, device, coverage, network conditions, or other circumstances outside the control of Authorized Residential Operations.

15. SMS CONSENT AND THIRD PARTIES

SMS consent is maintained as a direct agreement between the recipient and Authorized Residential Operations for the applicable messaging program.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be sold, rented, transferred, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Authorized Residential Operations may use communications and technology service providers to facilitate the delivery and operation of our messaging services on our behalf. Such providers are not authorized by us to use SMS opt-in information for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Additional information regarding our handling of personal information and SMS consent is available in our Privacy Policy.

16. RE-ENROLLMENT IN SMS

If you opt out and later wish to receive text messages again, you may enroll again through an available Authorized Residential Operations SMS opt-in method.

New consent may be required before recurring SMS communications resume.

17. SMS PROGRAM CHANGES

Authorized Residential Operations may modify or discontinue its SMS messaging program or particular messaging features when appropriate.

We may also update these SMS Terms to reflect changes in our messaging practices, technology, carrier requirements, or applicable law.

Any updated Terms will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
